Memorable Movie Moments of the New Millennium
Picking out the memorable movie moments of the new millennium is an easier task now than it will be in 990 years time. The first decade did not see the production of many films that would go the greatest films of all time. Even though few films will echo through the ages, there are many movies that will remain in the minds of those who saw them.
Many of the most touching moments came from animated films. Toy Story 3′s final scene shows the passing of the torch and giving Buzz, Woody and the rest of the gang to a new owner remained sad but sweet. It also reminds us that children grow up. Another good moment is when Wall-E first meets Eve. The robotic romance may be a little unusual, but it furthers the movie’s plot. Rounding out the final movement is Pixar’s Up. The first 30 minutes of the film tells the story of an old man’s life and the story of his lost love.
Live-action films have not done as well for memorable moments. Even Annakin Skywalker’s conversion into Darth Vader does not quite ring out in the memory. Everyone knew what happened to Annakin Skywalker. Live action films will catch up to animated features eventually. The makers of live action films have not done so yet.What’s 1 more click?
