Whether you’ve got directv California or just basic cable you have to admit AMC has really been on its game in recent years. The network is creating amazing dramas left and right and we’ve got a breakdown of our favorites – no surprises here:
The Walking Dead – We’ll be the first to admit The Walking Dead hasn’t quite hit its stride to become GREAT like we know it can be. Hopefully the third season will kick things off with a bang now that the gang has left the farm.
Mad Men – Okay, okay, everyone praises Mad Men but we’re unapologetically excited about more screen time for Christina Hendrix and less for January Jones. Back after an extended hiatus, Men is set to be one of the biggest shows of the season. Again.
Breaking Bad – This one is one of the best shows on TV and Brian Cranston really sets the bar high. Between the acting and the unique storyline you’ve got to love the world that is Breaking Bad – after a literally explosive season finale we’re pumped to find out what’s coming next.

It is only fair to start this jocular list by naming one of Arnold Schwarzenegger classics, Commando. The plot of this film was not the joke; in fact, the plot is what saved this movie from being labeled as a comedy. In Commando, the lousy lines are what made this so-called serious film funny.

The production of independant films has become one of the greatest genres of films in the history, and has become ever more popular today, with more and more small companies and producers, putting out indie films, to reach a niche audience, and particular fans which are looking for a specific movie style. Indie films have been in existance for years, and early on, although they were accepted by some, many people preferred watching movies produced by the larger movie corproations out in the industry.Confused? The Year’s Best and Worst Blockbuster Motion Pictures

This year’s blockbusters can be divided into three basic categories: remakes, reboots and big concepts, with some a combination of all three. In the 1990s, a Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts together in a movie would have been box office gold. In 2011, the result was little audience interest due in part to lackluster plot. Cars 2 and Kung Fu Panda 2 didn’t pack the same punch as their predecessors.
